MOCK PANEL REVIEW

Overview

The Mock Panel Review will provide participants with the opportunity to serve as reviewers on a mock panel and review a set of CAREER proposals. Prior to the session, as pre-work, participants will be required to a view a series of five pre-recorded video modules that introduce the NSF panel review process and address specific proposal aspects that are typically focused on during the proposal review and selection process. During the live mock panel review session, participants will have four hours to review a set of four to six CAREER proposals, discussing the proposal, formulating and/or submitting a review, and then putting the proposal in a ranked category. The session will culminate with a report out, where the results from each breakout room will be shared with the full group of workshop participants.

Individuals interested in participating in the Mock Panel Review will not be asked or required to submit additional application materials.
